WANTED!!! Several good teams!!! Are you a team player? Do you have experience in agility, Frisbee, dog tricks, games, canine musical freestyle or other dog sports? Want to show the world what your dog can do? This casting is for you! Introducing: The American Idogs National Performance Team. We are starting our recruitment process for our upcoming National tour. We need at least 25 trainers with up to 40 dogs per show and that, just for the core team. The American Idogs canine performance show is simply the biggest dog entertainment show production in America!. Don’t miss the event in support of our local furry friends in need at the 22nd Annual Walk for the Animals presented by VCA Animal Hospitals and sponsored by PETCO Foundation and Ed Morse Automotive Group. This year’s event will take place on Saturday, March 3rd in Huizenga Plaza in Downtown Fort Lauderdale and is chaired by Jennifer Kennedy and Brian Mora. Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. and the 1.25-mile walk will begin at 10:00 a.m. Honorary Chairs for the Walk include Jacey Birch of WPLG Local 10 News, Darlene Evens from 99.9 Kiss Country and Patti Morse of Ed Morse Automotive Group. You don’t need a dog to join in the fun! The walk is a major party for everyone. There will be a bounce house and face painting for the younger crowd. Dogs can receive the star treatment with doggie massages; red carpet photos and a dip in the doggie pools all while their owners enjoy free pancakes from IHOP, live entertainment from the Thunderhead band and the Purina Incredible Dog Team. Participants can also visit sponsor booths and pick up fun items from Purina, BB&T, Service America, Pet Supermarket and many more! There are a number of ways to get involved and help the HSBC reach their $500,000 goal. Participants can create a personal fundraising page at www.Walk4theAnimals.com and ask friends, family and co-workers to make donations. Have a group of friends or co-workers that are dog lovers? Form a Pack or team and raise a minimum of $1,500 and your pack will receive special perks on Walk day. Some ideas to help you reach your fundraising goals are hosting a bake sale, a dog wash or a book sale. Raise more to earn more. Fun goodie items for the beach and VCA Animal Hospitals’ gift certificates are awards for various levels of fundraising. This year’s top three fundraisers will enjoy a 2-night/ 3-day stay at a luxurious Kimpton Hotel in Aspen, CO, San Francisco, CA, or New York City, NY.
