July 20, 2012: Voice for Puppies

July 20, 2012
8:00am to 10:00am

There will be a protest on July, 20th in the case of Ryan Garson which is located outside the West Palm Beach Courthouse.

Ryan Garson from "Palm Beach Puppies" is scheduled to go to court for selling sick dogs without a health certificates. The Department of Agriculture and Palm Beach Animal Care and control have been investigating Ryan and his father Alan Garson for the last 6 months prior to present allegations!!! Some how from the Department of Agriculture to the States Attorneys office numerous violations & charges have disappeared, so he is only facing one count for selling puppies without health certificates. Because of just having one charge against him, he would only get 10hrs community service at a soup kitchen. The judge denied the plea deal, and the case is scheduled for Friday July 20, 2012 at 9:00 am in courtroom 4d. There will be protesters located outside the courthouse starting at 9 am. "Not all victims can call 911 that is why we need to be the voice for these innocent & helpless animals." Said one of the Plaintiff's. If you have any questions or comments please feel free to contact PalmBeachPuppiesVictims@yahoo.com and also check out Facebook "Palm Beach Puppies Victims".

The Black Rose Irish Pub of Boca Raton

Calling all dog lovers! Have I got the spot for you.

Is this heat deterring you from spending time with your furry friend?
Well, deter no more.

"The Black Rose Irish Pub" is a dog-friendly outside and INSIDE restaurant/bar. I did not believe it myself, but it is true. It is air conditioned, and the overall environment is very welcoming as well as the staff. They have games (darts and pool table), a small stage for bands and karakoe, food and spirits. It was given 4 1/2 out of 5 stars on yelp.com

I, personally, spoke to the head bartender who informed me that they will be having a fundraiser for the local humane society in the upcoming weeks. I will update the blog as soon as I receive a date.

I, also, found out the owner is a self proclaimed dog lover which is no surprise because he has 3 dogs of his own.

So stop by the pub, and tell them that Animal Beats sent you.
